Diamonds Por Favor

I am talking about confident style OTB today!
In Monday's blog {HERE} I was sharing about white jeans and everyone's personal style is different. I worked with a new client yesterday on her closet and we had so much fun bringing her personal style into the current trends. I love to dress up and look cute and to do that you don't always have to wear 'fancy' clothes or expensive clothes. In this outfit I styled a comfy cute graphic tee - which how cute is it?? - with comfy jeans, no belt, cute shoes to elevate the overall look. This look could just as easily be cute with flip flops for running errands or picking up the kids at carpool and then jazz it up with fun earrings and heels for a quick date night out or happy hour with friends.
But everyone feels confident in different things.... so I wanted to chat a little bit about that. As women we all have those days where 'stretchy pants - yoga pants - lululemon pants' are about the only things that we feel like wearing.... that is perfectly ok! I do it too! What I love to do when styling clients is to help them find the comfortable everyday style that they are confident in. However, sometimes our everyday style needs a facelift.... to keep us from looking dated. That doesn't mean we should throw away everything in our closet and start over... I mean .... sometimes we can add a few new pieces to help elevate the rest of our closet. And it can be as simple as getting a new pair of shoes that are trendy to keep us looking fresh!
So what is your everyday style fav and why??
I caught up with a couple of my stylish girlfriends and asked them to describe their everyday style... Here is what they said...
"I would describe my style as consciously casual. I wear jeans {shorts, long, or skirts} with something feminine like ruffles or skin revealing like off the shoulder or low cute V-neck. I then pair it with flat sandals or platform shoes. I never wear true heels, heavy makeup or statement earrings during the day. I'm always looking to balance being put together but not trying too hard."  by N.R.
 &
"My favorite everyday style is classic with a pop of color - think J. Crew meets Lily Pulitzer! But above all it must be comfortable enough to keep up with my 6 and 3 year old little girls." by S.F.
**Thanks ladies for sharing**
This look is what I call an effortless street style... or even a throw-n-go. Easy to keep on hand and put on for comfy and cute no matter what you are doing. If you need help with your closet... be sure to contact me HERE! I would love to help you elevate your style.
Feeling cute doesn't have to be hard!
